Terms & Conditions
(Corporate days / Birthday parties / Other archery events)
(By sending your deposit/payment we assume you have read these terms & conditions and agree with them fully)
General Terms
Corporate days - recommended minimum age is 8 (no maximum age!)
Minimum age for archery parties are as follows:-
Medieval archery parties - 8 (no maximum)
Mini med's - 5 (no maximum)
To adhere to our insurers conditions we will require the names of all participants prior to the event.
Should you break either our ruling regarding number of participants or minimum age
we reserve the right to refuse those people participation - no compensation can be claimed for
Payment terms
Deposit: 50% is required to book date/s in advance.
Should we not receive a deposit & reasonable attempts have been made to contact you,
we reserve the right to book a different job on that date – no compensation can be claimed for.
Balance: to be paid in full on event day.
(where a booking hasn't been re-scheduled to the agreement of both parties)
By You: If the day has been cancelled by you on the day - Full payment required.
If the day has been cancelled by you less than 14 days notice - Loss of deposit.
If RS Archery have to cancel the event:

Item 1 (on the day) - Full payment
Item 1 (before the event) - loss of deposit
(where a booking hasn't been re-scheduled to the agreement of both parties)
Item 2 (on the day) - Full payment
Item 3a - loss of deposit
Item 3b - return of deposit
Item 4 - Full payment
(In ALL cases no compensation can be claimed for).
1) Bad Weather where we would deem the event to be unsafe - (thunder storms / very high winds).
2) Shooting area is deemed unsafe and suitable reorganization of the area is not satisfactory.
3a) Fuel shortages, unable to reach venue due to weather conditions or traffic, strikes, terrorist attack, acts of god.
3b) vehicle breakdown or accident
4) Rules regarding number of participants or minimum ages are broken
Photographs & video
Anyone wishing to take photographs or video footage via any means should seek permission from the event organizer
prior to the event start and be willing to let RS Archery staff or the event organizer view the pictures/video at any time.
RS Archery may take photos on the day which maybe used in its marketing material / web site.
Copies of taken photos are readily available on request.
If you don't wish to be included photos please tell us prior to event start.
On the day (you will be reminded on the day)
Participants are restricted from the shooting area unless supervised by an instructor
No one is to handle any bow/weapons unless supervised; participants will be supervised at all times during shooting.
Never load the bow until instructed.
When told to stop shooting by an instructor, please do so immediately & unload the arrow from the bow.
The pointing of the bows or arrows at people or animals is strictly forbidden & may result in being asked not to shoot.
No alcoholic drink / drugs may be consumed before, or during shooting.
Anyone who an instructor or RS Archery considers to be a danger to themselves or others will be asked not to shoot.
Our decision is final.
