RS Archery Club League

An archery competition for RS Archery Club members only

Basic Rules:

You may shoot 6 sighter arrows
You must shoot on the allotted day – if you miss it sorry!
Adults with own recurve equipment shoot indoors 40cm / outdoors 80cm 30metres
Adults with own longbow or club style equipment shoot indoors 80cm / outdoors 80cm 30metres
Juniors shoot indoors 80cm / outdoors 80cm 20metres
Both adults and juniors must shoot 2 dozen arrows

Each archer in their respective group will be then scored on the follow principle:

for 1st place 20 points / 2nd place 17 points / 3rd place 15 points / 4th place 13 points / 5th place 11 points /
6th place 10 points / 7th place 9 points / 8th place 8 points / 9th place 7 points / 10th place 6 points
(if you miss the round – no score)

e.g on round one
Archer A scores 194 (out of 240 maximum)
Archer B scores 115
Archer C scores 189
Archer D scores 100

so the results at the end of round one would be
Archer A gets 20 points for being 1st place
Archer C gets 17 points for being 2nd place
Archer B gets 15 points for being 3rd place
Archer D gets 13 points for being 4th place

There is 1st prizes only in each class
Competition runs as per dates below (subject to change)
Prize giving will be at the end of the session on Thursday 27th September 2012
If you don’t wish to score we would still love to see you shooting.
RS Archery staff may not enter this competition
