If you have a budding Knight, Robin Hood, Maid Marion or William Tell and want a birthday party with a difference Then Mini Med's is just what you have been looking for. |

The Mini Med's birthday party runs along the same lines as our Medieval archery birthday parties (7+) but instead of using longbows which we find are too tall or most 5-7 year olds we offer them our medieval crossbows. These are both great fun & very easy to use. We will keep the children (max of 10 including birthday person/relatives) busy for 1.5 hours (90mins) of NON STOP mini medieval fun (if we don't you can put us in the stocks! - we haven't been put in yet!) |

Rough guide to how the Mini Med's party runs Most important is the safety talk ! Then it's straight into the action with two teams of 5 shooting at our medieval castle, Knight, dragon and other targets! After having fun shooting we let the child have a break/rest from the action where we talk to them about the life that we led in the medieval times (often gore& unpleasant -children love it!!) and show them various weapons/clothing/armour (chain mail, swords, arrows, spears, etc. all blunted for safety) At this stage the children will be amazed as we demonstrate some sword fighting (for safety reasons children can’t do this – but is great fun to watch! - remember to have your camera ready) It's then back into the action with a charge at the Quintain and swiftly followed by each of them being placed in the stocks - only for a laugh (unless you cross our palms with gold!) At the end of the Mini Med's birthday party each child is “Knighted” and presented a certificate. |
