RS Archery club - Terms & Conditions
(By paying your membership & shooting fee we assume you have read these terms & conditions and agree with them fully)
General Terms
Minimum age is 8 (no maximum age!)
To adhere to our insurers conditions we require the names of all participants before shooting commences
If the child is under 18 year of age on 1st October for that year he/she may join as a junior.
All juniors under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) throughout the complete session.
During any session our decision is final - no compensation can be claimed for.
Payment terms
Shooting fees must be paid in full before shooting commences
Membership runs from 1st October to 30th September
Any member that hasn't paid the membership fee at time of renewal or they shooting fee will not be able to shoot.
Equipment usage
No equipment is allowed to be taken away from the session
(we will not rent equipment - all equipment remains the property of RS Archery)
Should a piece of equipment be broken and the cause be put down to misuse / abuse then the damage/breakage MUST be paid for in full that day
Own Equipment
No Compounds, crossbows (normal or pistol type), catapults, fire arms (including bb guns) are allowed.
Should you purchase any of these you will not be allowed to shot it.
The club is happy to advise any member on purchasing equipment.
Should you buy any equipment (advised or not) we accept no responsible should that equipment be unsuitable
You are responsible for your equipment at all times - we accept no responsibility for any loses or damages.
Photographs & video
Anyone wishing to take photographs or video footage via any means should seek permission from RS Archery
prior to the event start and be willing to let RS Archery staff view the pictures/video at any time.
RS Archery may take photos which maybe used in its marketing material / web site.
Copies of taken photos are readily available on request.
While shooting at the club
Participants are restricted from the shooting area unless supervised by an instructor
No one is to handle any bow/weapons unless supervised or it's your own equipment.
Please do not touch anyone else's personal equipment without asking permission
Never shoot the bow until instructed (whistle or verbal command to start).
When told to stop (or fast) shooting by an instructor or a fellow member, please do so immediately & unload the arrow from the bow.
The pointing of the bows or arrows at people or animals is strictly forbidden & may result in being asked not to shoot.
Should this practice continue you may be asked to leave the club - no compensation can be claimed for
No alcoholic drink / drugs may be consumed before, or during shooting.
Anyone who an instructor or RS Archery considers to be a danger to themselves or others will be asked not to shoot.
Our decision is final.
